Spurs supporters who jeered goalkeeper Vicario were told later "they cannot be true Tottenham supporters" by boss Frank.

Spurs conceded a pair of goals in the first six minutes to lose 2-1 to their opponents, marking their tenth Premier League home loss of 2025.

But the primary topic of discussion was the visitors' next goal when the keeper lost the ball well outside his box.

He ventured out to handle a high pass and carried the ball towards the sideline.

However, rather than booting it out of play, the Italy international spun and tried to clear, but slipped as the ball skimmed off Harry Wilson and was collected by Josh King.

King passed the ball off to Wales midfield player Wilson, who bent a shot into the goal from the touchline recorded at 36.6 metres.

Seconds later when the ball went to the keeper again, some Spurs fans booed him.

The team were booed off at the interval, with the side 2-0 behind, and again at full-time.

A particular of those booing sessions truly angered Frank.

"I heard a few of our supporters reportedly booed the incident and jeered after, which, in my opinion is totally unacceptable," the Dane commented regarding the supporters' reaction to his shot-stopper.

"Those individuals cannot be real Spurs fans that act that way. Alright jeering after the match, fine, but when we are playing, we are backing each other, we are with each other moving ahead."

Tete had given Fulham a fourth-minute lead before Harry Wilson's strike – with Kudus scoring for Tottenham in an better second-half performance.

Ex- top-flight keeper Hart stated that the next score was "totally preventable".

"I certainly understand the fans' frustration," the ex-keeper added. "I know the part the keeper is playing. He is a excellent squad member, he's a real leader in the dressing room but ultimately you are going to be judged by your actions.

"He was heavily implicated in what turned out to be the decisive goal."

In fact it was the second longest-range Premier League goal of the campaign – after Tyler Adams' 43.3 yard strike for Bournemouth against the Black Cats, which interestingly also occurred on Saturday.

Wilson said he was "a little bit surprised" that he still had an empty goal to target.

Although Vicario's error led coverage, this was an overall poor performance for Tottenham to extend their home woes.

The match was their tenth home defeat of the year in the league, a joint club statistic along with 1994 and 2003.

They still have home games against the manager's old side Brentford and champions the Reds to play before the end of the season.

Only one of those victories have occurred after Frank took over from his predecessor in the summer.

"When you're behind 2-0 after six minutes, there is a huge challenge to overcome," stated the boss.

"When you're in a poor run, all aspects seems to go against you as well – the opening was a redirected shot, the next is a mistake from Vic.

"This result leaves us in a place where we have suffered another match. Every game has a single story, today we lost in the first six minutes.

"We just need to continue striving. The second half was much better and hopefully something we can utilize to develop."

Spurs have been defeated in 4 consecutive home London derbies for the initial time in the top division.
