It's difficult for the Australian squad to break new ground.

This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the peak baggers, are what's still available for a team that has won it all.

The fact it required until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

Once she was out her side needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the confidence to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, if we do, we believe we can achieve it."

These statements will be the final thing competing nations at this World Cup should hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this success coming after win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.
