Passionate followers of Ariana Grande are demanding that a individual who leaped a barricade and touched the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or deported from Singapore.

A circulating clip depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen shoving aside photographers and lunging at Grande while the cast made its way down a promenade flanked by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though official papers showed that he was due to attend court on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Record of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed contains videos of him disrupting other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," stated an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Followers Express Concern Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented a further message on Instagram.

Several supporters also questioned guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while some demanded online networks to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Premiere Information

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande appeared surprised when she was touched by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of supporters had gathered in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore mall, including some who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it began.

The motion picture, to be released on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a dual interpretation of the acclaimed theatrical show Wicked, which centers on the unlikely bond between two very different witches.

The production itself is a adaptation of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and received 10 award recognitions, securing two for best costume and artistic direction.
